A continuation from yesterday… Let’s kick off today with the first look. I am such a fan of the first look– I love the romance, the sweet moment shared between a bride and groom– in fact, it was one of my favorite parts of my own wedding day. Love these images that Erin from the Collection expertly captured:undefinedundefinedundefinedundefined

After that, the bridal party took to the streets to journey over to the Country Music Hall of Fame:undefinedundefined

Before we head to the ceremony– a quick look at Lindsay’s beautiful sapphire ring! I am such a lover of sapphires, and this is a perfect blue:undefined

The couple chose to wed beneath a tree in the Country Music Hall of Fame patio. The day was perfect– a beautiful autumn day. We made a custom ivory burlap runner for Lindsay and Joe:undefined

The pew markers were branches of manzanita, ivy, roses, and hypericum:undefinedundefinedundefined

2 family ferns adorned either side of the aisle:

The beautiful programs:undefinedundefined

Right before the ceremony, an amazing burst of Starlings lit the sky:undefinedundefinedundefinedundefined

A lounge area, perfect for enjoying cocktails and cigars, graced the patio after the ceremony was completeundefined

The centerpieces were tall trees composed of manzanita and curly willow branches, with a base filled with roses, hypericum, ivy and white lilies:undefinedundefinedundefined

What a gorgeous wedding. I love the natural look to it all!!

Sometimes, a bride has such energy that she takes your breath away. Lindsay was that kind of bride– upon first meeting I was struck by her vibrance and energy and her vision for the wedding. The concept: a modern, city garden. The colors: rich chocolate, autumn oranges, peaches, and green. I designed an inspiration board that spoke to fresh fall colors with a recurring image of a fall tree:

Erin from The Collection captured the beautiful images from Lindsay + Joe’s perfect day; Mary Alice with A Delightful Day was the planner for the occasion, the couple got ready in the Hilton Downtown, and then wed at Country Music Hall of Fame. Juanita with Dulce Desserts designed their epic wedding cake.

A perfect morning…undefined

And a pretty dress…undefinedundefinedundefinedundefinedundefinedundefinedundefined

All made for a perfectly put-together bride (and oh my goodness, is that dress not RIDICULOUS. The answer is “yes”

The bouquets mixed autumnal yellows, oranges, and peaches– with seeded eucalyptus as a collar accent:

The handle was dressed in taupe ribbon and finished with a brooch of the bride’sundefinedundefined

The groom’s buttonhole: a mango calla complemented with a petite orange mokara, berries, and seeded eucalyptus.

The other gentlemen in the party wore an orange rose + hypericum berry buttonholeundefined

I just adore that image– it says so much to the anticipation of the day! undefinedundefined

And the groom’s focused expression— love it!

Tomorrow, I’ll show off the gorgeous ceremony + reception florals!
